In 1986, Catherine graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts.  In 1988, she graduated from The Delaware Law School of Widener University in Wilmington, Delaware.  Catherine then worked as Assistant District Attorney for the Office of The Philadelphia District Attorney as an assistant DA, successfully prosecuting hundreds of criminal cases.  After serving in the District Attorney’s office, Catherine moved into private practice eventually partnering with Robert Keller, Esquire at Keller-Harrington Law Offices, LLC.  In 2006, Catherine founded her own firm for which Harrington & Associates, P.C. is named.
 
Catherine was named Alumna of the Year in 2007 for Widener University School of Law. She has been featured in Philadelphia Magazine and as a guest speaker at local universities and schools as well as CLEs and Women’s Networking events.
 
Catherine has more than 30 years trial experience and continues to litigate in both state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in all areas of firm concentration.
 
Catherine’s professional memberships include Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, Widener University School of Law Alumni Executive Counsel, Brehon Law Society of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Bar Association, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Association of Defense Counsel, National Association of Women Business Owners and DA’s Alumni Association. As a Committee Hearing Member for the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board, Catherine volunteers to make recommendations at Disciplinary Hearings.  Catherine has also volunteered as Executive Board Member and Advisory Council to Norwood-Fontbonne Academy.

Shannon earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Fairfield University.  She graduated with distinguished honors in Trial Advocacy from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University in 2006.  Shannon joined Harrington & Associates, P.C. in 2008. Shannon’s areas of concentration include general insurance defense litigation with emphasis on special investigations and first and third party automobile liability issues as well as premises liability, personal injury, bad faith and coverage issues.

Christine graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in International Business in 1988.  In 1991 she obtained her law degree from Dickinson School of Law.  Christine worked as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Richard S. Lowe in Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas after which she began practice in the area of medical malpractice defense. Christine expanded her litigation experience to include personal injury, appellate practice, premises liability, contracts, automobile liability and insurance coverage issues. Christine joined Keller-Harrington in 2003 and continues to practice in all areas of litigation at Harrington & Associates, P.C.

In 2015, Rachael earned dual degrees, Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Bachelor of Arts in English, from Cabrini University. In 2020, she graduated from Widener University Delaware Law School. She was staff editor of Widener Law Review and a proud member of the Employment Law Society and Phi Alpha Delta. Post-graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Daniel A. Bernardin in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
 
Rachael joined Harrington & Associates, P.C. in 2021. She primarily practices insurance defense litigation. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Nancy N. Powell, Esquire

Nancy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Catholic University of America with a B.A. in Social Work.  Thereafter she worked as a Social Worker for two years in the field of foster care. In 1991, Nancy graduated from Villanova School of Law.  She began practice in the field of medical malpractice and general defense litigation through 2006 when she joined Harrington & Associates, PC.  Nancy’s experience includes a full range of litigation, trial and appellate practice. Nancy continues to work in general civil litigation concentrating in areas including medical malpractice, automobile defense and premises liability. Nancy has lectured to health care professionals on legal-medical issues and on the prevention of litigation.
